MONEY MONEY MONEY!

....and yes! money!
First we discussed about the affirmations to a millionaire mindset. you know what that means? anyone can be   a millionaire if you just follow these simple tips!

> Be a super money magnet
> Manage all income with ease. one word. "BUDGET"
> Consistent yet massive actions to increase total net worth.
> Money flows endlessly regardless of where and what a person is doing.
> Ability to earn and invest money increases exponentially day by day. SAVE UP! SPEND LESS!
> Become rich by adding values to other people's life.

More helpful tips
  • Don't use a credit card much, all of the excessive spending will come back to haunt you, and you may end up in debt. Try getting a debit card for daily purchases, they're a lot easier to deal with. Use your credit card only for emergencies, and to establish your good credit.

  • Never invest more than you are willing to lose. This is particularly important when you start. The older and more experienced you get the less risk you are likely to take, or the better you are capable of taking it.

  • Money represents value. You might come to the understanding that you make money on giving something that other value more than what they pay. You spend the money to get something that is more valuable.

  • Think a lot on why you want to become rich, what exactly you want to buy, what lifestyle you want. Make it specific, and date your time for having it and why it matters to you.

  • Money can never buy true happiness. Do not lose your friends and family over making money.

Moving on...
A continuation from the past blog post! yay! and its all about.....

DEPRECIATION
it is the lost in value of physical assets through its use.

Terms to remember:
1. DEPRECIATION CHARGES - The yearly deposits into the depreciation funds.

2. DEPRECIATION SCHEDULE - A spreadsheet for tracking the purchase of capitalized items and their depreciation status

DEPRECIATION SCHEDULE
1. Relate the total and average years in depreciation in the preparation of depreciation schedule.

2.Construct the depreciation schedule.

FORMULA:

( TOTAL DEPRECIATION )
DEPRECIATION = COST - SCRAP VALUE

( THE AVERAGE YEARLY DEPRECIATION )
DEPRECIATION/ TIME

MAKE MORE MONEY. Just always remember to save up and spend less. Don't put your money in your head put it in a bank.

BANK RECONCILIATION

Hi again! This would be my 2nd post and its all about BANK RECONCILIATION! Lets start by defining the terms.

BANK RECONCILIATION
Definition: The process of bringing the banks monthly report for each depositor showing deposits made, check written, cancelled checks and service charges.

RECONCILIATION STATEMENT
Definition: a document used to verify that two independent records of the same financial transactions agree as of a particular date.

THE DIFFERENCES IN THE BALANCES MAY BE DUE TO:

1. OUTSTANDING CHECKS -  Checks which have been written, but have not yet cleared the bank on which they were drawn. In the bank reconciliation, outstanding checks are deducted from the balance per bank.

2. DEPOSITS IN TRANSIT -A  deposit in transit is cash (currency, coins, checks, electronic transfers) that a company has received and is rightfully reported as Cash on its balance sheet, but does not appear on the bank statement until a later date.

For example, a retailer might receive $5,000 on Saturday (June 29) and $3,000 on Sunday (June 30). The money is deposited each evening in the bank’s night depository. The store’s Cash should be debited on each of those days for the respective amounts. However, the bank statement will report the $8,000 as a deposit on Monday, July 1, when the bank processes the items from the night depository.
When reconciling the bank statement dated June 30, the store will have to increase the balance on the bank statement by $8,000 for the deposits in transit. (Recall that the $8,000 is rightfully reported on the company’s books as of June 30, but the $8,000 is not recorded on the bank statement as of June 30.)
3. SERVICE CHARGES
4. ERRORS IN THE CHECK STUB ENTRIES
5. CANCELLED CHECKS
So thats it for now. you must always remember to check the dates, check the numbers and  check the bank. That is why it is considered to be called a "CHECK"

DIFFICULT OR NOT?

Business Math in Industrial Design! This is actually a part of the course i am taking in right now. and this would be an exciting way to share my thoughts, ideas and what i have learned. Thanks to my professor of course, Mr. Cris Paner for introducing blogging. Soooo, I just wanted to share what business math is all about. Sounds hard right? i knoooooow! however lets look at the brighter side my friends! This will be a CLEARER VIEW of where our  MONEY goes to when we buy things. also, to people who wants to open their own business like me. There's just so much in store for everyone of us. we just have to look closely to numbers. especially when it comes to money.

What i learned this week: serious mode

PROFIT and LOSS
PROFIT is a word i wanted to call BENEFIT. something that we gain, everybody has benefits however for businesses it means a lot. it is considered in which the sales are greater than the original price of the product.

DIAGRAM 1

                    GROSS SALES
-                   SALES RETURN AND ALLOWANCES
------------------------------------------------------------------------
                     NET SALES
-                   COST OF GOODS SOLD
------------------------------------------------------------------------
                    GROSS PROFIT
-                   OPERATING EXPENSES
------------------------------------------------------------------------
                     NET PROFIT

BIG WORDS RIGHT?
so i listed the definitions to make it easier to understand. :)
1) Gross sales - actual amount received for selling the goods
2) Sales return and allowances - amounts returned/ refunded usually if goods are defective.
3) Net sales - obtained when refunds are being deducted from the gross sales.
4) Cost of goods sold - buying price.
5) Gross profit - difference between revenue and the cost of making a product or providing a service.
6) Operating expenses - also called OPEX is an ongoing cost for running a product, business or system. it may also include the rents and utilities.
7) Net profit - a measure of the profitability of a venture after accounting for all cost.

That should be it for now!
for questions and suggestions just post a comment! hold on to your calculators. :)
bye loves!

Its just a little bit of math. :)
